Cypriana Az Cuc Menchú is the mother of Owensboro seminarian, Basilio. I am blessed to call Basilio my brother and friend, and now after watching this video I have an even greater sense of why Basilio is such a genuine and kind person. Always willing to help, and always caring Basilio will make a great priest, and one day hopefully I look forward to working alongside him in the vineyard of the Lord. Check out the video! Pray for Cypriana and her family. Pray for Basilio and for Lolek Productions. Pray for a greater respect of life, that all might say as Cypriana and her husband did: “This is a gift from God.” Pray for vocations!
St. Augustine has the famous quote about our hearts being restless until they rest in God. On our Bruté winter retreat these past few days, Archabbot Lambert constantly said that God is mercy and love. Pray that we may recognize that each of us is made for Christ, that each one of us is made for so much more than this life. Pray that we may recognize that we were created to be with God in Heaven, pray that we will recognize that each and every human life was made for love…
